Ciao Pisano! Although our branch of the Magro Family is from Monreale, we have particular interest in the coastal city of Catania, as it is a Sister City to Phoenix, USA.

Few of us Magro's living in the U.S. have had the opportunity to travel to Sicily, even fewer have have the opportunity to visit Monreale, the birthplace of our ancestors. The artwork featured to the right was created from an original photograph taken by Paul Magro several years ago from a hillside overlooking Monreale. Though Monreale is most widely known for its famous cathedral, it's quiet countryside is a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of nearby Palermo.
